This is a great piece of gear to have in the studio if you use podcasting mics video productions and need to get them out of the camera but close to the talent. I have countless light stands, many of them short for uplighting. I put this at the base of the light stand and a webcam on the top of the stand. The mic arm is outfitted with an Audio-Technica AT2020USB mic. A logitech webcam is mounted on the top of the stand. This is an outstanding streaming rig. A laptop or monitor goes behind the AV acquisition stand.
